Thank you for your interest in the 29th Annual Ocean View Beach Festival. We are pleased to provide all the information you need to apply for and operate a concession/vendor booth at the 2007 Festival. The dates for this year’s event are Friday, June 29, Saturday, June 30, and Sunday July 1, 2007. The Ocean View Beach Festival is a fund raising event of the Kiwanis Club of Ocean View Beach. Proceeds from this event enables us to continue to make the charitable contributions that make a difference in our community.
A non- refundable application fee of $25.00 per space must be submitted with your application. Please read the information carefully and if interested return the form and application fee no later than April 15, 2007. Applications submitted without the appropriate fee will not be considered.
Approximately twenty food and non-food vendors will be selected. Decisions will be made based on a careful review of your application and the enclosed guidelines.
It is important that your application is complete and correct as the absence of information or fees will adversely affect your selection.
The festival is staged at Ocean View Beach Park, 100 West Ocean View Avenue, Norfolk, Virginia 23503.
There is NO parking of vehicles next to concessions however, there will be designated parking for one vehicle per vendor nearby as space permits.
Selection will be based on the contribution the vendor will make to the Ocean View Beach Festival without regard as to the individual or organization aside from reliability to be a good vendor.

GUIDELINES FOR SELECTING CONCESSIONAIRES
- The product being sold is in keeping with the overall theme and tone of the event as determined by the selection committee.
- The product and its distribution do not result in a violation of applicable laws or ordinances or festival policy and lease.
- The appearance of the concession is in keeping with the overall nature of the event as determined by the selection committee.
- Product quality, service efficiency and prior experience will be considered.
- The overall mix of products to achieve diversity and variety will be considered.
- Logistical requirements are reasonable and can be accommodated within the overall plan for the total number of concessions selected.

20 X 20 space $ 2000.00 $ 1500.00
10 X 10 space $ 1000.00 $ 800.00
Applications will be available March 15, 2007 to be returned to us by April l5, 2007. An application fee of $25.00 per space is required. This fee MUST be submitted with your application by April 15, 2007 in order for your application to be considered.
All vendors will be notified as to the status of their applications by May 1, 2007.
Leases will be mailed out to participating vendors by May 1st to be returned by May 15th. All space fees will be payable in full no later than May 15, 2007 and submitted with your completed lease by that date. Proof of insurance listing the Kiwanis International, Kiwanis Club of Ocean View Beach, dba The Ocean View Beach Festival and The City of Norfolk, it’s agents, volunteers and employees as additional insured. The proof of insurance listing all the above parties as additional insured must be received with your lease and space fee.
Failure to return your fee, completed lease and CORRECT proof of insurance can prevent access to the festival site.
