The 29th annual Ocean View Beach Festival heralds the start of another summer season and traditionally attracts locals, newcomers and visitors for a three-day celebration of neighborhood and family. Produced and sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Ocean View Beach, Inc., it brings food, music, children's events, a carnival, arts and crafts, exhibits and much more together for a memorable and well-recognized community event.

All festival proceeds remain in our community through donations to the many worthwhile charities supported by the Ocean View Beach Kiwanis including local church food pantries, Crimeline, F.O.R. Kids, Inc., Youth Crisis Network, Church of the Advent, Southside Boys and Girls Clubs, Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters (CHKD), scholarships to deserving high school seniors, other local school activities, and many more.

Truly a community event, the Ocean View Beach Festival is the second largest outdoor event annually held in Norfolk, and the largest event actually held adjacent to the beach.
